This is a soft translucent wash, reminiscent of Scandinavian limed timber with a matt finish. Perfect to use over Blake & Taylor Chalk Furniture Paint to create a washed look or it can be applied to raw timber such as floors, bench tops and furniture. It will give your pieces a weathered beach-style finish. This translucent wash can be built up in layers to create a more opaque finish if desired.

Available in 1 Litre, 500 ml and sample pot size 120ml.

For high traffic areas and added protection we recommend sealing with our Clear Top Coat.

Paint Surfaces & Application

White Wash can be used over Blake & Taylor Chalk Furniture Paint for a more decorative paint effect.

White Wash can also be applied to raw timber allowing the wood grain to show through. Not recommended for tannin rich timbers. We advise testing an area before proceeding with application as bleeding of tannin may cause visible staining.

Application can be with a brush or sponge depending on the desired paint effect. Work in the direction of the grain for a smooth look or in different directions for added texture.
